The Contemporary Business Issues class at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton will feature the following speakers in February:
— George R. Wackenhut, chairman of the Wackenhut Corp., on Thursday.
— Phil Brous, a former president of Miller Wohl Co. and Fozmoor Co., and professor of retailing at Columbia University Graduate School of Business, Feb. 11.
— David Fuente, chairman and chief executive of Office Depot, office supply company based in Delray Beach, Feb 18.
— John Henry, commodities trader, Feb. 25.
The course starts at 7 p.m. on Thursdays in Room 141 of Fleming Hall in the College of Business.
FAU students, besides those who are already registered for the course, can attend the course with permission from the instructor. Members of the public who are part of the Dean’s Partners group are also invited.
Dean’s Partners was formed to give financial support to the business school. A minimum contribution of $25 is required and goes to the FAU Foundation.
