WHAT:
Sure, you could go to a restaurant and eat a meal. Or — hear us out — you could bump it up a bit and try ATMOS Immersive Dining, where you’ll have a sense-surround experience while you feast.
That’s what Miami Dolphin John Jenkins, TV host Nick Cannon, singer/songwriter CeeLo Green, rapper Ace Hood and “Below Deck” chef Ben Robinson all reportedly did.
Like these celebrities, when you go to ATMOS, you’re getting a luxury gastronomic event in a dining room using 360-degree projection mapping technology and transportive proprietary audiovisual inventions along with the chef-driven cuisine. In other words, you go on a bit of a mind trip while the table and the room come alive with video clips, music and sound effects, all tied to the theme of your cuisine.
WHEN:

BEHIND THE SCENES:
The trio behind the “show” are audiovisual designer Adrian Vargas, chef and hospitality pro Tommy Catolico Pires and veteran SoFlo hospitality publicist Michelle Soudry.
“At ATMOS, our goal is to take the guest on an ‘out of this world’ immersive culinary journey, where guests essentially ‘travel’ to different countries and travel through ‘space’ to get to these distinct countries and destinations,” Soudry says.
Launched in January, ATMOS started with a cuisine experience called “Passport Europe.” But starting Nov. 10, the new dining passport is titled “Passport South America” and includes a two-hour, six-course gastronomic journey to Peru, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela.
EXTRA TIDBIT:
“The name ATMOS came about as both a technical term to denote the highly detailed, crisp, high-quality film footage incorporated into the audiovisual culinary journey, as well as a double entendre for the unique immersive dining ATMOSPhere the dining concept seeks to cultivate for its guests,” adds Soudry.
